Sales Tax Information (pdf) Updated 5.29.09
All artists selling their work are required to collect the appropriate sales tax for the county and Colorado. If your studio is located in the city of Boulder, you will also need a City of Boulder sales tax license. All artists must collect county and state sales tax. The tax rate is 8.16% (city 3.41%, county .65%, RTD 1.20%, state 2.90%).
Applying to Open Studios Fall Artist Tour
Dates of next Open Studios: October 2 & 3 and October 9 & 10, 2010.
The application is closed for 2010. For 2011, the application will be open early February 2 through early April 2, 2011. We use Westaf's online application, which enables artists to apply online to multiple calls for entry through a central Web site, www.callforentry.org. The online application process also allows artists to directly upload high-resolution digital images of their artwork for jury presentation. Why do we use Cafe? (pdf)
